VOLUNTEERS: Help needed for field trip Tuesday, December 5

English teacher Mr. Miller is looking for a few good volunteers for a very
interesting field trip on Tuesday, December 5 from 8 am until 3:15 pm.  The
volunteers (and students) will be traveling by bus to a labor negotiations
simulation. Students (Our students will be sophomores and juniors) from
three schools will learn about a labor negotiations situation and then find
themselves separated into groups of labor and management teams who will try
to negotiate an agreement.  This simulation will be based upon an actual
situation.  Students will be assisted by experienced Union Negotiators.  At
the end of the day, student teams will share their agreements if any and
learn about how the actual historical situation was resolved.

Lunches and buses will be provided by the BFT.
