[BHS etree note: the Vera Casey Center, across the street from
Berkeley High School, provides child care and support for teen
parents, as well as opportunities for non-parent teens to learn about
child development. Preference is given to Berkeley High students.]

Join us for a special reception to celebrate our newly renovated Vera
Casey Center

The Vera Casey Center provides Early Head Start and child development
services for infants, toddlers and their families. Through the Vera
Casey Collaborative, a partnership of the YMCA, City of Berkeley and
Berkeley Unified School District, specialized services provide teen
parents with the support they need to continue their education and
pursue a bright future.
