Applications for the California Scholarship Federation are now 
available in the College/Career Center (D221).
The completed application, $1 membership fee, and copy of report card 
or transcript are due by Monday, Oct. 30 in the CCC.
3 hours of community service and $15 of fundraising are due by 
Wednesday, January 24.
The California Scholarship Federation is a state-wide honor society 
open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors designed to promote and 
recognize the high standards of scholarship, service, and
citizenship of California high school students. Members must maintain good
grades and perform 3 hours of volunteer community service per semester.
Additionally, all members must pay a $1 membership fee and raise $15 per
semester. The $15 donation  goes towards scholarships for Berkeley High School
college-bound seniors.

Students who are CSF members for a minimum of four semesters, including one
semester in their senior year, are eligible to obtain Life (Sealbearer)
Membership. Life Members are eligible for CSF scholarships and they receive
"sealbearer status" on their transcripts and diplomas.
