College Advisor's Bulletin
Monday, October 2, 2006

SAT WORD OF THE DAY: FASTIDIOUS – fussy; very particular in matters of
taste. My mother was very fastidious; even as a young child, I was
required to put my toys away at night and make my bed every morning.

*SENIOR PARENTS – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the Berkeley High
School library, Sue Kim, a financial aid consultant, will give an
overview of need based financial aid, how the Estimated Family
Contribution is calculated and merit based aid. There will be a second
financial aid night on December 7 where we will walk through the FAFSA,
a form which is required by all colleges when applying for financial
aid.
