Here is a great new service form out friends at the Berkeley Public Library:

You've got homework?  We've got help.

Live Homework Help comes to Berkeley Public Library

Berkeley Public Library has many resources, both books and online, to 
help students with their homework assignments, and now Berkeley 
Public Library has added Live Homework Help for kids and teens, 
grades 4-12, or for anyone studying subjects in that grade range for 
either the GED or for
basic community college courses.  Live Homework Help is an 
Internet-based service that connects students with qualified, 
experienced tutors in a wide variety of subject areas: math, science, 
social studies, and English!

 From any PC (no access through Macs at this time) with access to the 
Web using Internet Explorer and with Flash 8 installed, at the 
library or at home, a student can click on the Live Homework Help 
link from the library's Web site [ 
http://www.berkeleypubliclibrary.org/ and engage in controlled chat 
with
expert tutors.  Students and tutors can also work on an interactive 
white board, share educational Web sites, and send files back and 
forth for a truly rewarding learning experience.  Tutors are 
available everyday from 4:00 PM -10:00 PM.  Live Homework Help is 
also available en Espanol (in Spanish), Sundays -Thursdays, 4:00 PM 
-7:00 PM.  Users need a Berkeley Public Library card in order to take 
advantage of Live Homework Help.  Get one today!
