Support the BHSDG on Back-to-School Night September 28th

The Berkeley High School Development Group (BHSDG) is the major
fundraising organization at Berkeley High, along with the Berkeley
Athletic Fund. Please support the BHSDG and give generously this
semester when your students' teachers ask for donations at
Back-to-School Night on September 28th. Your financial support makes
a huge difference in your child's educational experience, and it is
so greatly appreciated by the faculty and staff at Berkeley High. 

The financial support from parents and the Berkeley community is
remarkable and helps make Berkeley High such an amazing place for our
kids.

The BHSDG is off to a great start, and we are happy to announce that
we are already making a difference for students, teachers, and the
school environment in this school year, 2006-07!

Since August, the Development Group has provided funds to support:

* Berkeley Rep Tickets for English classes
* Subscriptions to the New York Times for Journalism classes and the
Jacket
* A new office space in the College and Career Center
* Food for after school meetings at the Vera Casey Center
* Funds for the Quizbowl 
* Blackout shades for an art classroom
* Books for World History literature circles
* Geography curriculum materials
* Digital Darkroom equipment
* Digital Cameras
* LCD projectors and Classroom Response Systems for the Science
