Elections for parent representatives to the Berkeley Schools
Excellence Project Committee and School Site Council will take place
in May this year, as will elections for PTSA officers.

* SSC decides questions of school policy.
* BSEP decides how to spend enrichment money.
* PTSA facilitates communications between families and the high
school.

Come to the PTSA-sponsored community gathering on April 26 to find
out more about these important organizations and why you should
consider running to be a representative.  Current members of BSEP and
SSC will talk about the work of these powerful committees.
