March is Art IS Education month in Alameda
County--coinciding with national Arts Education
month--and there are 21 events in Berkeley (over 165
events across Alameda County) that celebrate how our
children learn through the arts.  We've created a
petition asking our Alameda County representatives to
support the $100 million for ARTS EDUCATION FUNDING  in
the Governor's proposed budget.  This funding is
critical to expand arts learning experiences to grow
strong communities, schools and students.

To add your name to the growing list of supporters,

on the "Sign our Petition" link under the top headline
"Take Action!"

Schools without arts learning experiences miss the
opportunity to educate the whole child.
