In celebration of African American History month, come hear two
renowned celebrities in the Berkeley High Library Wednesday, February
22, at 7 P.M.  

Morrie Turner, creator of Wee Pals, the first syndicated multi-ethnic
cartoon, graduated from Berkeley High and makes his home here.

Karen McKie, storyteller extraordinaire, has been an active
participant in the Berkeley High School community.

This event is jointly sponsored by the African American Studies
department, the Black Student Union and Berkeley High Library. Bring
the whole family!
