Auditions for the Berkeley High School Jazz Lab Band II (intermediate
level) for Fall 2006:

*Tuesday, February 21st at 3:15pm (saxophone, rhythm section, piano,
guitar, trumpet)
*Thursday, February 23rd at 3:15 (trombone)

Location: BHS "A" Building, Room 201

Directions: Enter BHS campus on Allston Way near the Administration
Bldg., turn right into the first building on your right (Music
Building) and go upstairs.  
 
Musicians should be prepared to play scales, solo to a blues song and
sight read a piece that will be provided. Depending on the number of
students who audition, waiting time could be up to one hour.

Berkeley High School has an outstanding jazz program under the
direction of Charles Hamilton. At the recent 17th Annual Folsom Jazz
Festival, Jazz Lab Band II received second place in their division,
Ensemble Combos won 1st and 3rd places in their divisions and the BHS
Jazz Ensemble won 1st place!
