[BHS etree] ETREE: Berkeley High Student Dies over the weekend

With great sadness we report the death of Alberto Salvador
Villarreal-Morales, 15, a sophomore at Berkeley High.  He was shot
Saturday night while standing on a sidewalk in Oakland.  Today,
Tuesday, students gathered on the steps of the Community Theater
during lunch in his honor.  Counselors were available throughout the
day for grief counseling.
 
There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, January 20 at 9 a.m. at St.
Joseph the Worker Church on Addison Street.  The family would
gratefully accept any contributions to help defray the cost of the
funeral.  Cash or checks made out to Rosalinda Morales, his mother,
can be delivered to Vice Principal denise brown in H104.
