Berkeley High School's award-winning, student-run newspaper, The
Jacket, is looking for new columnists and reporters for the Spring
2006 semester. 
 
Students interested in joining should send an e-mail to
news at jacket.org requesting a columnist or reporter application.
Applications are also available in H102 during zero period on Mondays
and Wednesdays. All applications are due by Tuesday, January 17.
Completing the Journalism class at BHS is not required, although it
is recommended. 
 
The application process involves submitting several writing samples
(i.e. essays, short stories) and answering a few questions.
