With the approval of the BHS Shared Governance Team, the Associated
Student Body Officers and the Class of 2008 Student Body Officers
will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, January 12, 2006,
during 3rd period in the Community Theatre.  In order for this event
to happen efficiently, we will need the following assistance:

1)   For all World History/Cultures teachers to distribute and
collect (by 1/10/06) index cards for student questions.  (Provided by
Leadership 1/6/06)
2)  All tenth grade students to report to the Community Theatre
promptly at 10:37am.
3)  Teachers of entire tenth grade classes (during 3rd period) to
accompany their classes to the Community Theatre promptly at 10:37am.
(Seating Assignments by class wil be provided, please adhere)
4)  Teachers of mixed grade 3rd period classes, please dismiss only
tenth grade student to the Community Theatre.

We are also requesting:
1) If teachers with a 3rd period prep could be present to assist in
the supervision of individual students whose teachers are still
teaching.
2) The particpation of the counseling staff to be present to assist
with supervision.
3) Safety Officers to be present at the Theatre entrance doors and
present during the meeting for safety and security.
4) Parent volunteers to assist by providing an adult presence.

The format of this meeting will be "Town Hall" style.  The Officers
will be introduced, their role and purpose will be stated and the
sophomore Student Council members will facilitate the
questions/concerns written by the sophomore class students.  All
questions will be responded to by the Class of 0/8' officers and/or
staff.  It is our intention to hold this meeting to highlight the
Student Body Officers and to provide a forum for student needs and
concerns.  The officers will also highlight sophomore events for the
remainder of the year including, but not limited to: 

A) Winterball
B) Student Body Elections
C) College Day
D) California High School Exit Exam
