Do you want to know what really happens when you go away to college?  Come
hear all about life at college from the experts -- BHS alumni who are
currently  attending schools all over the country. Get past the college
admissions hard sell and  glossy brochures for the inside story on dorm
food, grade inflation, downsizing, upsizing,  and other cultural
"adjustments".

DON"T MISS AC's "What's Up With College?" night this Thursday evening, 
January 5th, from 6:30 to 8:30 in the Student Learning Center (second
floor of the admin  building across from the library).  Refreshments will
be served, and a separate session will  be held for parents in the
library.  This event is highly recommended for BHS freshman,  sophomores
and juniors AND their parents  -- it's never too early to start planning
for  college!  If you are a freshman come come for the long term
motivation (avoid that sophomore slump!).  If you are a sophomore come for
the overview of over twenty schools (and start planning those  college
tours). And if you are a junior, this is a great opportunity for face to
face time with  your near future (and starting the college list!).
