SAT WORD OF THE DAY: PRECARIOUS - unstable; shaky. Fame and
celebrity are precarious at best; one can lose them just as suddenly
as one gained them.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT FOR SENIOR PARENTS: December 6, 6:30 p.m. in the
Berkeley High School library. Please come and bring all your
questions about financial aid, merit aid and scholarships. A
representative of the UC Berkeley Financial Aid Office will walk us
through the FAFSA, line by line and I will discuss the CSS Profile.
