On Tuesday, November 22 BHS AP Environmental Science teacher Mardi
Mertens is going to take her senior class on a field trip run by
Save-the-Bay to the Los Gallinas Creek near the Marin Civic Center.
The trip will leave the Milvia/Bancroft Tennis parking lot at 8 a.m.
and return between 3:15 and 3:30 pm.  

The field trip will include a walk and canoeing and was a wonderful
experience last year.  In order to transport all the students, Ms
Mertens needs a volunteer to drive one group.  Even if you child is
not in the class, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the
outdoors and observe our wonderful seniors close up!  If you are
interested in the event, please call Ms Mertens at  (510) 849-1142.
If you come, don't forget to pack a lunch.
