SAT WORD OF THE DAY: DILATORY - habitually late; tardy. To
discourage dilatory students, some teachers lock their doors after
class has begun.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHTS FOR SENIOR PARENTS: A two-part financial aid
workshop - November 10 and December 6, both at 6:30 in the BHS
library. Please come and bring all your questions about financial
aid, merit aid and scholarships. November 10th will include an
overview of financial aid and how the Estimated Family Contribution
is calculated. On December 6th, a representative of the UC Berkeley
Financial Aid Office will walk us through the FAFSA, line by line.

FOR SENIORS
REMINDER - If you are applying to any private schools which require
counselor recommendations, your large envelopes addressed to each
college, along with a Transcript Request Form and the Counselor

questions about how to organize these forms, stop by and talk with
Ms. Abrams or Ms. Harris.
