Embracing Diversity Films and Albany High School PTA present "The
Mexican Laborer" on Thursday November 3 at 7p.m. in the Albany High
School Library.

"The Mexican Laborer" is one of the five stories that comprise the
recent PBS series, "The New Americans." Each of these stories
expresses the strong sense of loss and pain that is a part of leaving
the place and culture that one knows. "The Mexican Laborer" journies
across the border with a Mexican meatpacker struggling to reunite his
family in Kansas.

When: Thursday November 3 at 7p.m.
Where: Albany High School Library
	603 Key Route Blvd, Albany

Wheelchair accessible. (Please enter the gymnasium doors on Thousand
Oaks Blvd., turn right, go through another door and walk straight
down hallway to the library.)

This fascinating 2003 documentary is 60 minutes long and appropriate
for high school, middle school and elementary audiences, as well as
adults. Following the film there will be a facilitated discussion for
those wishing to participate. Admission is free and donations are
welcome.
