ETREE: Spirit Week details
contact jhuseby at pacbell.net
This week is Berkeley High's Annual Spirit Week designed and promoted
by the
student government to build school spirit. Most students get in the
spirit
of it all and have a great time during Spirit Week. Every day is a
different
themed dress up day with Friday culminating in Red and Gold Day and the
Spirit Rally. There are actives on the steps of the Community Theater
Monday through Thursday including Monday's Soul Train and Wednesday's
Square
Dancing.. The complete dress up and activity schedule is below. In
order
to accomodate the Rally, Friday is a Shortened Day with periods running
45
minutes instead of the usual 55. Students will go directly from their
6th
period class to the rally leaving their backpacks in the classroom (or
home). The Rally is optional, but it is also a lot of fun -- students
compete by class for the most spirit and the Homecoming court is
introduced.
There will be a football game following the day's activities on Friday
at
4:30 p.m.

then head for the Donahue Gym where the rally will be held. Also, if
you
can let me know if you are coming, I would appreciate it.
