GIRLS SOCCER
All girls interested in playing soccer for Berkeley High should come
to an informational meeting on the BHS turf bleachers nearest the
parking lot on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at lunch.  

BOYS SOCCER
All boys interested in playing soccer for Berkeley High School should
come to an informational meeting on the BHS turf bleachers on
Thursday, Oct. 13 at lunch.

FOR BOYS & GIRLS SOCCER: In case of rain, the meeting will be held in
the Donahue Gym Lobby.  Tryouts begin Monday, Nov. 7.


FOOTBALL COACH HONORED
Congratulations to Head Football Coach Matt Bissell on his selection
as the Raiders/NFL Coach of the week following the team's league
opener versus Alameda High School.  Log on to www.raiders.com  (under

"News and Views") to read about the award.  The Jackets host Pinole
this week: JV on Thursday at 4:30 (no charge) and V. on Friday at
4:30.  Tickets are $3
students/$5 adult.
