[BHS etree] ADMIN: New Families Reception tonight, 7pm

Tonight (Thursday, August 25) is the New Families Reception and
Dessert Potluck.

The event begins at 7 p.m. with a program in the BHS Library. Several
staff members who are particularly involved with 9th grade students
are scheduled to attend: Matt Huxley, 9th Grade VP, denise brown, VP
for Safety & Discipline, Susan Werd, 9th grade counselor, Alejandro
Ramos, Dean of Students and Jarrod Bardi, Intervention Coordinator.
Members of the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Various BHS organizations and programs will also make brief
presentations.

At 8 p.m. the event will move to the food court where we will share
refreshments and conversation. Some of the organizations represented
will have literature available, PE uniforms and BHS wearables will be
on sale.

Donations of dessert or snack items will be appreciated. PTSA will
provide beverages and paper goods.

Parking will be available in the on campus parking lot (enter on
Milvia between Durant and Channing) and on the old tennis courts
across the street (enter on Bancroft or Durant). To get to the
Library, enter the D building on Allston Way at Milvia and walk
straight back to the stairway. The Library is on the second floor.

This is a great opportunity to find out more about BHS, meet other
families and to find out how to get involved. We hope to see you
there.
