The summer mailing, all 2,936 pieces, was hauled over to the post office
this morning at 11. Because it is being sent bulk mail, carriers have up to
two weeks to deliver, though most of you will receive the information by
next week. On the label you will see the time your child should report for
registration. Students should bring the white envelope with the label with
them to registration as well as all the forms filled out, a lock (if they
want a locket) and $2 for the Student Organizer.

Alert readers will find a list in the newsletter of all the items that
should be in the mailing. Some items on that list were NOT included in the
mailing including PE uniform order, PTSA membership envelope, Campus Map,
Freshman Yearbook info, Writers' Room Notice and Football Notice. For a
complete list of what WAS included, see below. PE uniform order forms will
be available at orientation. The campus map is included in the Student
Organizer which will be distributed at registration. The freshmen yearbook
info is part of the picture forms. Watch the etree for info on the Writers'
Room. Call the school for football info (644-6121.)

Finally, the PTSA membership envelopes... PTSA membership envelopes will be
available at the first PTSA meeting of the year Thursday, September 8 at 7
p.m. on campus. Please plan on attending that meeting and joining the PTSA.
The PTSA concentrates on communications including paying for the etree and
the newsletters (production and mailing)--so we need your participation. We
are very sorry that the membership envelopes were not included in the
mailing but that does not mean you do not have to join! We need you.
