[BHS etree] Memorial for BHS Graduate Meleia Willis-Starbuck, Friday July 22nd

The Berkeley City Manager's Office and the Berkeley Unified School
District are assisting the family of Meleia Willis-Starbuck in
planning a memorial for her on Friday July 22nd at 11AM, in the Food
Court at Berkeley High School. Her tragic death over the weekend has
left the BHS small school community Communications Arts & Sciences
(CAS) where she graduated in 2003, shocked and in pain over the loss,
and has touched the larger Berkeley community who were affected by
her deep commitment to community service as well.

Note from the etree: A memorial scholarship account has been set up
in Meleias name for Berkeley High graduates interested in pursing
work in social justice. Contributions can be sent to the Mechanics
Bank, 2301 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, 94704. Checks should be made
