Administration
1.	SUMMER SCHOOL AT BHS  -   JUNE 22- JULY 29TH!

2.	PARKING-  Beginning July 8th there will be NO FREE PARKING in the 
parking lot (Milvia Street) on the weekends.  Friday evenings at 5 pm 
–11:00 pm and Saturday at 7am until 11 pm -there will be a fee charged 
to park in those lots.

3.	If you have not picked up your work permits that have been turned in 
by June 17th, they will be voided.

4.	Attention all Sophomores and Juniors who enrolled in AP Language and 
Composition for the Fall 05.  Please visit Mr. Miller C217, Mr. Carton 
C213, or Mrs. Z C220 and pick up your copy of the summer assignment!  
See you!

5.	JOBS- If you are over 16 and from a low income home, you may be 
eligible to participate in Job Corps.  Get paid while you get free 
career, academic and social skills training.  For more information, 
call 310-670-0711 or pick up a flyer in the College/ Career Center.

6.	JOBS-Retired UC Berkeley math professor is looking for a student who 
can drive him (in his car) locally to appointments and on errands, as 
well as help with office work.  If you are interested, send a note to 
Dr. Lester Dubins at 1626 Spruce St., Berkeley, CA  94709.

7.	JOBS-Local Color, a greeting card business, is looking for clerical 
help, 15- 20 hours per week, $10 per hour.  The hours are flexible.  
Must have a car, located in the Oakland Hills.  For more information 
contact Steve Jenner at 547-3107.

Clubs
1.	Hey Chess players!  The Chess Club is back for one final meeting 
today, Thursday in C125 from 3:15 – 5 pm.  Come by and see if those 
skills are still there.

Sports
1.	Attention Badminton players:  June 25, 2005   BBQ/ Swim Party 
-Badminton players BBQ money due today.  $7.00 per person.  Guests must 
pay.  Please attend a mandatory meeting in the conference room next to 
the BHS library at lunch!

2.	Berkeley football is excited to present its 1st annual skills camp 
on June 25th.  This camp is open to all kids between the ages of 12-15. 
   If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mary Kay 
Murlas at 510-866-9050 or email her at < murlas at sbcglobal.net >.  Thank 
you for your support.

Senior / Junior Section
1.	URGENT!  Seniors must attend graduation rehearsal on Friday (June 
17th) at 9:30 am at the GREEK THEATER!

2.	If you have not picked up your caps and gowns you may pick them up 
at rehearsal on Friday morning.

3.	Seniors you only allowed to decorate your caps!  If your gowns are 
decorated you will not be allowed to walk the stage!

4.	BHS Graduation: Courtesy shuttles will start at 4pm in front of 
Milvia and Bancroft gate.  They will run every 20 minutes until 6p.m.  
No need to sign up!  Just show up at the designated location.  The 
shuttle will start again from the Greek Theater at 7:00 pm until 8:00 
pm doing drop-offs.

Events/ Performance

1.	Italian students past and present:  End of the year get together at 
LoCoco’s Restaurant on Shattuck Avenue on Wednesday, June 15th at 1:30 
pm.  Let Ms. Carta know if you plan to attend.
