[BHS etree] PTSA: Services for Parent Da'Rand Shariah

Parent Da'Rand Shariah, BHS Site Council representative and chair of the
Academic Choice Program Design Team, passed away unexpectedly last Thursday,
January 20.  A service in his honor will be held tomorrow Wednesday, January
26 at the Bethel A.M.E. Church in San Francisco:  2 p.m. to 3 p.m. viewing
and 3 to 4, service.

A reception is being planned for after the service and Da'rand's family
would appreciate it if guests brought light desserts or snacks to share.
PTSA parent Tonya Tyree will collect your donations  outside the
Administrative Office, Building D, corner of Allston Way and Milvia in the
morning from 11:30 a.m. to noon. (e.g., cookies, pies, cakes, and finger
foods etc.)  Wednesday.

The family would be very grateful at this time for whatever support our
community can offer. Financial contributions would be especially helpful;
please send any amount you feel you can afford to the BHS Development Group
under his name (P.O Box 519, Berkeley, CA 94701-0519).

Cross the Bay Bridge to 9th Street Exit.
Stay in middle lane as you go straight on 9th.
9th will curve around to the right - follow the curve
Left on Grove
Right on Franklin - one block
Left on Fulton - 2 blocks
Right on Laguna. Church is on right hand side (parking
lot available)

The visitation (viewing) is 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
The service from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.
