[BHS etree] DEVELOPMENT GROUP: Report

The BHS Development Group wants to thank all of you
who have contributed to our fall fundraising effort.
So far, we have raised $38,000.   We are still short
of our goal of 100% participation by the BHS
community.  It is not too late to send a contribution
of any size!

In December and January, the Development Group  used
your donations to our Annual Fund to support the
follow grant proposals:

$1,000 for the Mentoring Program sponsored by the
Parent Resource Center
$2,500 towards the purchase of Graphing Calculators
for the math department
$600 for the Conflict Mediation Program sponsored by
the counseling department
$1,200 to support a  new teacher in creating a
Freshman Seminar classroom independent reading
library.
$5,000 for improving the on line course registration
process for all students.
