Administration
1. If you already took an ID picture and lost it, it can be replaced.
Please submit your name to Rhonda Jefferson in the morning and pick it up by
lunch. IDs cost $5 to be replaced.
2. REMINDER- If you are applying to a private school, your Secondary
School Report Forms (sometimes called Counselor Recommendation Forms,
included with each colleges application), transcript request forms and
envelopes are due on Wednesday, November 10 in the College/Career Center.
3. Hey Key Clubbers: Today at lunch in G210 Circle K is coming to
present valuable information about the college application process. Come
hear about their experiences and find out about more of our upcoming events.
Clubs
1. Hey Berkeley High! The BHS Water Polo team is starting a Water Polo
Club. Everyone is welcomed no matter what your experience. We are here to
have a good time. And to all water polo players who played this past
season, please bring any pictures you have to this upcoming meeting.
November 8th at 3:30 pm at the new pool on the bleachers.
2. Be part of the Latino Film Festival: come to the Raza Club for more
information.
3. There is a Model United Nations Club meeting on Wednesday, Nov.10th
in C307. Everyone attending the workshop on November 13th must come! You
also must contact Elisabeth or Sophie prior to the meeting.
Sports
1. Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Cross Country teams, which both
qualified for NCS. They will run at Garin Park in Hayward on Saturday,
11/13.
2. The Winter Sports Season begins Monday, Nov. 8. Wrestling meets in
the Old Gym at 4:00 pm. Girls Soccer meets on the turf at 6:00 pm. Girls
Basketball meets in the Old Gym at 4:00 pm. Boys Basketball meets in the
New Gym at 4:00 pm. See Coach Juarez in room C127 to find out where boys
soccer is meeting. Turn in completed athletic packets to your coach.
3. First day of Basketball, Soccer, and Wrestling tryouts is Monday,
November 8. If you haven't had a physical in the last year, you must
schedule now. Completed physicals and athletic packets are required in
order to tryout. Pick up packets in the Admin office or in the Athletic
Office (by Donahue Gym).
4. Girls Soccer tryouts will begin on the BHS turf Monday, Nov. 8, from
6:30- 8:30 p.m. Bring your completed athletic packets with you in order to
tryout.

2. UPCOMING COLLEGE FAIR AND WORKSHOPS- Saturday, November 13, 8:30 a.m.-
12:00 Noon, Beebe Memorial Christian Methodist Church, 3900 Telegraph Ave,
Oakland. Representatives from many local and historically Black Colleges
will be present. Free admission and lunch. For more information, contact
510-655-6114. Flyers available in the College/Career Center.

1. Make sure you buy a yearbook. The price is still $60 but it will go
up soon.
