STUDENT DAILY BULLETIN

Administration

1.    ASB Student Government meeting on Wednesday, September 22nd in C400.
All ASB officers must attend.

2.    Seniors: it's time for Senior Polls! (for the yearbook).  Senior Polls
will be available Friday, September 17, 2004 on the Senior Steps during
lunch.  We will be collecting them on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  When
you turn in your Senior Polls you are required to show your student ID.
Only one poll per senior-- no seniors will be able to turn in more than one.

3.    Crew Team Open House and Picnic.  The Berkeley High Men's and Women's
crew teams are having an open house and picnic at Jack London Aquatic Center
this Sunday, September 19, from 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m.  Returning and
prospective rowers and their families are invited.  Contact Mary Glaeser at
841-7550 or www.berkeleyhighcrew.org.

4.    Mr. Bissell is looking for proctors and TA's for periods 0-4.  If you
are interested come see me at G211.


Clubs 
1.    All Freshmen interested in running for a student government position
may pick up an application from Ms. McKnight-Johnson in D124.  It is due
this Friday, September 17th.

2.    Is your club looking for a great cause to support?  If so, perhaps
making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk-A-Thon is the answer.  Please see
Mrs. McKnight-Johnson today to sign up  or for more information
and participation forms.

Sports 
1.    Attention: Badminton Players, and hopefuls.  Meet with Coach Patton to
raise money for hoody's for the 2005 season.

3.    Girls Water Polo Tournament this Friday and Saturday in the BHS
Competition Pool.  Admission $2 for everyone.  Kids under 5 free.

4.    First home football game this Friday, 9/17.  Come see the undefeated
Jackets compete against Foothill High School.  JV at 4:30 p.m. and Varsity
at 7:00 p.m.  Adults $5/Students $3.  Everyone must have an ID to purchase
and to enter the game.  BHS faculty and staff enter free with BHS ID.  Go
Jackets!

5.    Register by September 28th for High School Girls Fall Ball hosted by
BOP Lacrosse, on six Sunday afternoons October 3-Nov. 7 from 1:30-4:30 at
BHS and Bishop O'Dowd.  Don't miss out on the fun!  Registration packets
are available in the Athletic Director's office.
Senior Section 

1.    Upcoming College visits - sign up in the college center
September 20, 2004 
8:30 am  - College of the Atlantic
9:30 am  -  Beloit (WI)

2.    Seniors:  do you have pictures from the summer that you would like to
have in the yearbook?  Bring all of your summer weekend pictures to H102
(yearbook room) zero or seventh period.  Be sure to put your full name and
your grade on the back of the picture and put them in the box labeled
"Summer Weekend."  Any photos with inappropriate content will be rejected.

3.    Senior Parent Night: Monday, September 20, 6:30 pm in the College/
Career Center.

Events/ Performance
1.    Want to learn how to dress like Tyra Banks and other top models?  Come
to a video/fashion show Sunday at the Florence MacDonald Community Room,
2017 Stuart St at 2:00 pm.  This is a benefit for teens.

1.    You may purchase PE uniforms in the Girl's Gym:

Sweat Shirts and Sweatpants - $15.
