WriterCoach Connection Updated Training Schedule

Enjoy the satisfaction of making a difference to
Berkeley High students and teachersbecome a writing
coach! WriterCoach Connection (WCC), formerly
Writers' Room, pairs trained volunteers with students
to help them master the writing and critical thinking
skills needed to complete assignments and succeed.
The program has brought impressive results to Berkeley
Schools.

Coaches commit to a regular, 2-hour/week assignment
and meet weekly, during the school day, to work
one-on-one with students in their English classes.
The program serves all 9th grade students, and
Writer's Cafe serves all grades at lunchtime.

You don't have to be a writer or educator;
WriterCoach Connection trains you to be a coach.
Learn step-by-step methods to coach
students--including your own--at one of our fall
trainings. We recently added two afternoon sessions,
3A and 5A, in addition to evening trainings.:

Session 3: Tuesdays, 9/7 & 9/14, 6:30-9:30 PM
Session 3A: Mondays 9/13 & 9/20, 12:00-3:00 PM
Session 4: Thursday, 9/16 & 9/23, 6:30-9:30 PM
Session 5: Mondays, 9/20 & 9/27, 6:30-9:30 PM
Session 5A Tuesdays, 9/21 & 9/28 12:00-03:00 PM
