[BHS etree] ACADEMIC CHOICE: Picnic Friday, Aug. 27

 Families of students enrolled in Academic Choice classes at BHS are invited
to a pot-luck picnic in Cordonices Park next Friday afternoon (August 27th)
from 4:30 to 8:30 pm. Cordonices Park is located at 1201 Euclid Avenue
across from the Berkeley Rose Garden; we have reserved Picnic Site #1 for
our
gathering.

Academic Choice teachers will be present and we will have an opportunity
to discuss the challenges facing the program this year. We will also have an
opportunity renew family friendships and welcome new students and their
families
to the program.

Students and families who are curious about the program are very welcome
to join the picnic and learn more about Academic Choice at Berkeley High.

We have organized family pot-luck contributions by last name, and have
asked everyone to bring their own utensils (fork, knife, spoon) so that we
can reduce
plastic waste.

Last name begins with:
 A-F Drinks and Chips
G-R Salads, Pasta, Pizza
S-Z Desserts
